Harun: In theory or practical , a country does not bear in a single day (its so giant, single day is impossible), in that sense,we both are wrong. We need to pick an event from in between 1947 to 1971. there have been many events, All are Significant, but were not the final destination/event.
only possible Final significant events are either 16Dec or 26... See More March. But after 26 March, we were still fighting and were not exactly independent,(our ugly father pakistan was still considering us as one part) but we were at the edge of final event. therefore i will like 16 Dec as complete birth; final event. Before that, everything had own significance, but had some limitations either from outside world or inside country.

২৫ মার্চ রাতেই আমাদের স্বাধীনতার ঘোষনা অর্থ্যাৎ ঐ সময় থেকেই স্বাধীন বাংলাদেশ-এই বাংলাদেশের প্রতি সিংহভাগ মানুষ আনুগত্য প্রকাশ করেছে, এর সার্বভৌমত্ব রক্ষার জন্য প্রান দিয়েছে, শুধু দালালরা এই রাষ্ট্রের বিরোধীতা করেছে। আমরা যদি কেউ ১৬ ডিসেম্বরকে বাংলাদেশের জন্মদিন বলি-অজান্তে হান্নান শাহ'র মতো জামাতী মকারদের হাতে অস্ত্র তুলে দিয়েছি।
বাংলাদেশের জন্ম হয়েছে ২৬ মার্চ। সরকার গঠন স্বাধীন দেশের জন্য যে অভ্যন্তরীণ ও বাহ্যিক স্বীকৃতি দরকার হয়, তাও ১৬ ডিসেম্বরের আগেই ছিল।
একটা দেশের স্বাধীনতা টিকিয়ে রাখার দাবী নিয়েই যুদ্ধটা হয়েছে, যে কারনে আমরা এটাকে স্বাধীনতার যুদ্ধ বলি।
১৬ ডিসেম্বর বাংলাদেশের জন্ম হলে তার আগের নয়মাস এটা পাকিস্তানের অংশ ছিলো। সে ক্ষেত্রে জামাতীদের গৃহযুদ্ধ তত্ব প্রমানিত হয় যা আদৌ সত্য নয়।
জন্মের সময় জটিলতা হতেই পারে। যেখানে মিনিটে সাতটি শিশু জন্মনেবার সময়ই মারা যায়, সেখানে জন্ম যতই জটিল হবে, বেচে থাকা শিশুটির জন্মোৎসব পরবর্তীতে ততই আনন্দের হবে! আর হয়েছেও তাই।
২৬শে মার্চই বাংলাদেশের জন্মদিন, এ বিষয়ে কোন ভ্রান্তি বা ধোঁয়াশার অবকাশ রাখা উচিত হবেনা।
১৬ই ডিসেম্বরকে জন্মদিন না মানার সবচেয়ে বড় কারন হল:::::::::::
যদি তাই হয় তাহলে আমাদের মুক্তিযোদ্ধারা ছিল রাজাকার আর রাজাকারেরা ছিল পাকিস্থানের মুক্তিযোদ্ধা। তাই নয় কি????????

Ripon: @Aziz.....তাজউদ্দিনের পতাকা উত্তোলন আর সরকার গঠনের সাথে দেশের জন্মদিনের সম্পর্ক থাকবে কেন? একটি শিশুর জন্মের পর (স্বাধীনতা ঘোষনা) তার বাবা-মা তো এমনিতেই তার ভরন-পোষন আর কাপড়ের ব্যবস্থা করবে। তাই নয় কি?
@Aitk...৭ই মার্চ তো স্বাধীনতা ঘোষনা হইনি। কেন তা জন্মদিন হবে? আর সরকার গঠন তো একটি দেশের জন্মের পরেই হয়টা স্বাভাবিক। তৎক্ষনাত তো হয়না।
